Well, we may be interested in having you! But first, please review the following information about booking ticketed shows/events at our venue. (If you are interested in booking a private event at Remedy, please proceed to the form.)

REMEDY LAWRENCEVILLE — BOOKING RIDER (as of 4/5/25)
📍 THE SPACE & SETUP
Remedy Lawrenceville offers a 65-person capacity DIY venue space located on the 2nd floor of the bar. It features:
Two adjoined rooms with a private bar and restroom
A third room with a pool table
Eclectic decor: graffiti, vintage signs, art, and ambient lighting
A dedicated side entrance off Butler Street for load-in/load-out only
Parking on Butler Street is typically easy and free (no meters or permits).
You’re welcome to tour the space during our business hours:
Sunday–Monday: 4 PM–2 AM
Tuesday–Saturday: 3 PM–2 AM
🎤 EQUIPMENT
Small mixer
Power amp
Two 15” speakers
Two microphones + stands
If you need additional equipment (monitors, mics, wireless systems, subs, etc.), you must bring it. You’re also welcome to bring lighting or decorations, but no setup before day-of show.
🎶 SOUND POLICY
Do not touch the mixer. Remedy provides a sound person who will handle setup, issues, and all audio management.
💸 SPACE FEE / GUARANTEES
There is currently no space fee.
Remedy takes no cut of ticket or merch sales.
Bands keep 100% of door and merch.
Remedy keeps 100% of bar sales.
No drink tickets or comp tabs are provided. This arrangement may change in the future — you will be notified in advance if it does.
🕖 TIMING & CURFEW
Typical door time: 7 PM
Typical music start time: 8 PM
Flexible start time: Anytime after 5 PM, upon approval.
All music must end by 12 AM – NO EXCEPTIONS (local sound ordinance). Guests may remain upstairs after music ends, but the upstairs bar closes at 12 AM.
🍻 FIRST FLOOR LAST CALL / CLOSE POLICY
Last call is at 1:45 AM
Everyone must be out of the building by 2:00 AM — NO EXCEPTIONS (including all performers and guests).
🔊 THE BAR & DRINK POLICY
When open, the upstairs bar accepts cash or credit/debit cards. Tabs can be opened by scanning your card. All open tabs will be charged a 20% gratuity.
Remedy reserves the right to close the upstairs bar based on show attendance and bar sales. Whether it is open, and how late it remains open, is entirely at the venue’s discretion.
We are committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our guests and performers. To ensure that everyone has the best experience, we have a strict no outside beverages policy. This includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks—absolutely no outside beverages are permitted into the venue.
If any outside beverages are brought into the venue, they will be immediately confiscated. Depending on the circumstances, the band or performer may be asked to leave the premises.
We do, however, offer Green Room Packages for purchase, which include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you are interested in these packages, please mention it at the time of booking so we can arrange it for you.
🔞 AGE POLICY / UNDER 21
Remedy is a 21+ venue. This means:
All shows are 21+ — no all-ages shows allowed.
All band members and guests must be 21+.
If a member is under 21, we must be informed at the time of show booking, and you must provide:
Full name
Age
Contact info
Name/contact of a parent/legal guardian or designated 25+ supervisor
Copies of state identification of underage performer as well as the parent/legal guardian/designated supervisor.
⚠️ If this information is not provided in advance, that member is NOT allowed to play.
⚠️ If we discover during the show that anyone in the band or with the band is under 21 without this approval, you will be immediately asked to leave, and your band will be banned from future bookings.
🚪 LOAD-IN / ACCESS
Upon arrival, check in with the downstairs bartender.
Bands must load in through the side door leading directly to the 2nd floor. (Bands are not permitted to load in through the downstairs bar.)
The side door will be unlocked for load-in.
That door must remain closed outside of load-in/load-out — no exceptions.
👥 STAFFING & RESPONSIBILITIES
Remedy provides:
A bartender (downstairs and upstairs, if applicable)
A sound person
Security, if the bar determines it's needed
Bands must provide:
Their own door person
Their own merch person
🎫 TICKETING & DOOR POLICY
Shows are typically cash/venmo/cashapp at the door, managed by the bands. If you choose to offer presale tickets, that’s 100% your call — but we’re happy to help promote them if you provide us the presale link.
Remedy does not handle ticketing or door operations.
📣 EVENT PROMOTION POLICY
Remedy Lawrenceville is a DIY venue, not a full-service promotion company. While we provide the same level of promotion for every show, the responsibility for pushing your show falls heavily on you, the band. Here’s how it works:
We promote all shows through our standard channels, including:
Social media (Facebook, Instagram, select groups)
Google Business event listings
In-bar flyers and posters (if you provide them)
Timeliness of Materials: The more timely you are in providing us with the necessary promotional materials, the more time we have to promote the event. If we don’t receive these materials soon enough, the event will receive less promotional support. Please send us event details as soon as possible after your booking is confirmed to ensure maximum promotion.

We will create the Facebook event and add you as a co-host. If you prefer to create the event yourself, you must make us a co-host and select the correct venue page: facebook.com/remedypittsburgh
Supporting Acts: We are not responsible for managing or securing any supporting acts. It is entirely up to you to find and book your own openers. We do not provide recommendations or curate lineups.

Once you have your openers, be sure to send us their full lineup and promotional info so we can properly list them.
